Métier’s programing enables access to a variety of services for individuals who are blind, visually impaired or DeafBlind to include; independent living training, orientation and mobility training, assistive technology training, and support services provision to aid in reaching independent employment goals.


Our adjustment to blindness group “day” course hosted in a residential environment by Métier’s team of vision rehabilitation professionals and orientation and mobility instructors.

Our Assistive Technology team provides group training sessions to prepare clients for our AccelerATe class

AccelerATe is a cutting edge group training providing the foundational AT and IT skills necessary in todays connected world. The course is taught by our experienced AT instructors.

This program has an exclusive focus on building up students’ fundamental skills with AT, Microsoft Office, troubleshooting and Internet browsing.  Students will apply these skills to project-based, time sensitive tasks which mirror those found in the workplace.
